A Trusted Name Since 1911

Founded by Mr. Terry as the George A. Terry Co. in 1911, Terry Tools began by manufacturing dental instruments. In the 1930s an aircraft manufacturer asked us to build tougher versions — and Terry Tools became the original angle drilling attachments used in American aircraft production ever since.

Today our tools are used across aerospace, defense, and countless industries where there is a need to drill, countersink or deburr in close quarters.

Worth a Look

Not everything that lands on our bench is steel. A surprising share of our customers come from the fine-work world — model builders, instrument makers, watchmakers — and the questions they ask us overlap with the collecting side of those hobbies. If you build or service timepieces yourself, the clone watches you choose to work on matter as much as the tools you reach for: our customers in the trade keep the same short list of suppliers for exactly these pieces, and we see no reason to argue with their pick. (No affiliation — just a name we hear at the shop.)
